Visions in Fantasy - Male Ranger with Sword or Water/Wine Skin options - DSM7403
The third entry of Mr. Jeff Grace into our VIF line - a ranger on patrol. There is an alternate left hand for this piece shown below as well. It has him holding a water/wine skin so he can look as if he just took a swig of water from the skin and is surveying the landscape. Matt Verzani really had a fun time painting him up and it shows. The color scheme Matt picked out for him works perfect.

Dark Sword Miniatures, MiniatureMentor.com and multi-slayer sword winner Jen Haley have teamed up to on an instructional painting tutorial DVD coming out later this year. If you have not purchased one of their DVD sets or computer downloads yet, I would highly encourage you to check them out. They are so worth it as the tips and techniques you learn are much easier to pick up by watching a live person demonstrate on DVD so you can rewind and watch multiple times to make sure you pick everything up. We also have another DVD on deck with our Parkinson Masterworks Demorgan miniature due to film later this year.

George R.R. Martin had Matt paint this piece up to be a Sword Brother of the Knights Watch. I really like how it turned out. This is not even the final version, but a late stage WIP. Matt deleted the pics after he sent this piece off to George, so this is the best picture he had.
