Jeff Grace and I really wanted to get a couple cool Wood Elves into the VIF line. So we did a male and a female version. Then of course talks turned to Dark Elves. And who does not love a cool looking Dark Elf I ask? So we had to do the prototype dual-wield Dark Elf warrior for folks out there as our first two were in much heavier armor and more "tank-like" than traditional Dark Elf characters. At first we did no scabbards, but then felt it would be needed as an option so people can set him up however they like. It has a little better "flow" without the scabbards, but if you want to go down the path of a true adventurer type, you can include them on the model. Matt really nailed this piece in terms of the a cool Dark Elf paintjob.
