This is a personal tribute piece for George R.R. Martin and his wife Paris. This is Mr. Augustus the Emperor Cat. Augustus is one of the proud cats that served on New Mexico Nights Watch for GRRM's house (a proud organization dating back many years...). He, along with his cohorts were responsible for keeping mice and other assorted critters out of the family compound. The Des artwork along with the Dave Summers sculpt capture Mr. Augustus as a Roman Emperor letting his will be known. Augustus would often dress in these robes to pass judgement on enemies of house Martin. Both Marike and Jess did him proud with the studio paintjobs.
