I received one of your miniatures in a lot that I purchased from ebay and am just amazed at the difference in detail, especially the facial features. For those of us who still want the old school more realistic fantasy figures, without the cartoonish looking features and ridiculously large hands, feet, and weapons, your site is wonderful.

Special Edition – Nude Study # 3 – Meso Body Type – Female Spartan Warrior – DSM7522

I wanted to do some Dark Sword nude studies for painters to work on painting the nude female form. In speaking with Tom Meier about this, we felt it best to do something somewhat functional with a story behind it vs. just straight pin-up nudity. In addition, we wanted to do different body types vs a skinny super model type body with fake breasts. So this is the third of the three nude studies Tom sculpted up. She is a female Spartan Warrior and an meso body type (meso is a muscular/naturally athletic body). Jen Haley painted her up to flow with the theme Tom started with in terms of her being a female spartan warrior. Another most excellent Jen Haley paintjob on an equally awesome Tom Meier sculpt to enjoy. Green pics down below per usual. And these are gaming scale pieces, not 54mm folks…
