George R.R. Martin Masterworks
Hodor and Bran Stark – DSM5047

Sculpted by Tom Meier

Hodor!

Yep, Hodor is in the house folks! George has been beating me bloody for the past couple years wanting to see Hodor and Bran in pewter. George finally wrestled me down in two out three falls (using the sleeper hold in the final match) and won the day. In all seriousness, we finally got some open time with Tom Meier to have him sculpted up. Hodor is a giant of a man around 7 feet tall and he is not too bright. The proverbial gentle giant if you will. He carries Bran around on his back in a custom basket that was made for him. So now we finally have him sculpted up with young Bran Stark. We also did the two Reed children at the same time. You can see below for pics of them.

Shown here with Meera and Jojen (not included with the DSM5047 pack).

Tom gave Hodor a great "clueless/off in his own world" look. Just kind of scratching his head and staring off in the distance at something unrelated to the conversation at hand between Bran and Meere/Jojen. He also gave him a very shaggy / unkempt look to reflect the fact that he is not really into grooming and would be given very functional haircuts / trimming and such.

Please note, Hodor is pictured here with no pants on (as it was discussed that he might simply wear a kilt type outfit). As you can see in the other pics above, he does indeed have pants on once we talked it through with George. It does get really cold up in Northern Westeros after all…
