George R. R. Martin Masterworks Ser Gregor “The Mountain That Rides” Clegane – DSM5032
Sculpted by Tom Meier
Well, this is one big fella as he is 7’11” (1 inch under 8 feet) tall. He is almost 18 inches taller than his little brother the Hound who is 6’6″. Tom Meier sculpted The Mountain so he could be used against his Brother The Hound or against The Red Viper if you wanted to build a fight diorama. Obviously you could use him for whatever diorama’s you like, but we figured we would provide some options for you with different heads and a different left arm option. Matt Verzani did an amazing diorama you can check out below.

Matt Verzani has been chomping at the bit to paint up The Mountain since George approached Dark Sword to do miniatures based on his books. Needless to say, he was all over the chance to do a diorama depicting the famous battle scene from Book # 3. Matt knocked it out of the park and I just sit and star at this diorama for minutes on end on certain nights. It is just so cool.

Painted by Matt Verzani Painted by Matt Verzani I love this angle of the diorama pic as it conveys how massive The Mountain is at almost 8 feet tall. Painted by Matt Verzani Painted by Gautier for Miniareal I do not think that is his blood, but that of his opponents and victims… Painted by Gautier for Miniareal Painted by Gautier for Miniareal Painted by Michael Proctor Painted by Michael Proctor Painted by Michael Proctor Painted by Skinsinner on CMON Here you can see Ser Gregor outfitted for his fight against the Red Viper in Book # 3. Such an epic fight…

Gregor will come with two heads and two left arm options so you can either have him outfitted for his battle vs. The Red Viper or in the scuffle against his brother The Hound.

A good picture to give you an idea of how immense The Mountain is compared to normal sized humans. Here is a scene from a critical fight in Book # 3 against the Red Viper.
